How to Search Vernon County Marriage Records

Getting a Marriage License in Vernon County

Both people must appear at the Vernon County Recorder's office together. Bring valid photo ID and your Social Security number. No blood test. No wait. Under RSMo 451.090, the license is good for 30 days and works in any Missouri county. After the ceremony, the officiant must return the signed license to the Vernon County Recorder within 15 days per RSMo 451.130.
